Review of The City of the Beloved in Pakistan’s Express Tribune Magazine

The City of the Beloved emerged into the world 6 years ago, at the start of the pandemic, when all plans I had for it fell apart. This is its first review in Pakistan, and it feels a bit like the project has come full-circle and perhaps even surpassed what I imagined for it. It’s such an honor to to be witnessed by someone who shares my influences and is, on his own, a brilliant mind and incisive writer.
